Emidio Pepe Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC wine comes from organic and biodynamic vineyards for 30 years, cultivated on the hills of Abruzzo on medium-textured clay soil in the municipality of Torano Nuovo. It is obtained from Montepulciano grapes, harvested entirely by hand. after manual clearing in wooden vats, the must is subjected to spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in vitrified concrete tanks. it is refined for 2 years on fine lees in concrete tanks before being decanted and bottled by hand.
